Meals at MSC Jr. Camp

Posted: July 7, 2015 by John McCauley in Food, Jr. Week

One of the best parts of camp at MSC is meal time together in the mess hall.  So far campers and staff have enjoyed hot dogs and pizza for lunches and lasagna and Mexican for dinners.  It’s also a time when we get a chance to visit with each other and build friendships.

Here are some pictures from our meals on Monday and Tuesday.

Here’s a short drone video from inside the mess hall at breakfast.

While enjoying kitchen director Kristie Maudlin and her staff’s incredible dinner consisting of fried chicken, green beans, hashbrown casserole, salad, croissants, and Oreo truffles, second-year camper Ryley Davis stated, “They feed us so much around here, we’re going to explode!”  From a 9-year-old, I’d take that as a compliment.  😉
