“MSC Spirit Day” at Chick-fil-A on March 1

To help raise money for Midwest Summer Camp and its sponsored events, the Chick-fil-A restaurants in Avon & New Albany, Indiana will be hosting a special “MSC Spirit Day” fundraiser NEXT Friday, March 1. A portion of all sales by customers supporting MSC throughout the day will be donated to MSC. Attached is a flyer for you to print and cut apart to share with family, friends, fellow Christians at your congregation, classmates, neighbors, etc. to help spread the word and help raise money for MSC. You can also forward this email to all of your contacts to further help us spread the word, or post details on your social media pages!

When ordering food at either of these Chick-fil-A restaurants on March 1, either present the attached flyer or mention Midwest Summer Camp at the cash register. Please remember that if you go back for dessert after your meal, once again present a flyer or mention MSC so we can earn a portion of all your money spent at Chick-fil-A. “EAT MOR CHIKIN for breakfast, lunch & dinner to help support MSC!”

Registration Now Open for 2013 Primavera Formal

Registration is now open for the 2013 Primavera Formal to be held on Saturday, April 27! This highly-anticipated event is open to all campers in grades 9-12 and will be held at Jonathan Byrd’s in Greenwood with photos beginning at 5:00 PM, followed by dinner, after dinner entertainment, and door prizes. The fun will move to the Post-Prim at the Greenwood Community Center from 7:30 – 10:30 PM. Once again, we will offer basketball, volleyball, and free time to visit with one another, but we’ve also reserved the game room this year!!!! Some of you asked for the Post-Prim to be held at Sky Zone in Plainfield, and although we were not able to secure this location for April 27, we hope to plan a Sky Zone party later this year.

The cost of this year’s Primavera Formal is $50.00 per person, which includes all the above-mentioned activities, as well as a photo CD. Each attendee (including campers and any guests) MUST fill out a registration form and pay the $50.00 admission fee. Campers can register and pay online via debit card, credit card, or PayPal by visiting http://midwestsummercamp.com/events/primavera-formal-2013, or at this same link, you can print a registration form and mail it, along with a check, money order, or cash, to: Rita Newton, 992 S. 700 W., Lebanon, IN 46052. All checks should be made out to: Friends of Indiana Youth.

Believe it or not, camp will be here before you know it! We will be announcing camp registration information, the camp theme, and logo contest details in the upcoming weeks. If you haven’t already done so, please mark your calendars now with the dates for this year’s camps:

MSC Sr. Week – July 1–6, 2013 (131 more days)

MSC Jr. Week – July 7–11, 2013 (137 more days)

All Sr. Week 2012 Mementos Orders Due TOMORROW

If you haven’t yet taken the time to order an MSC Sr. Week 2012 yearbook, DVD or photo CD, don’t wait another minute as all orders must be placed by TOMORROW, February 1.  These must-have keepsakes will help your memories of “Life Under the Sun” at Sr. Week last a lifetime.  These mementos will be delivered before the end of February.

 The yearbook, DVD, and photo CD cost $15.00 each, or you can order a combo pack at the discounted rate of $40.00. You can pay via debit card, credit card, or PayPal.
