Friday Flag Pole & More

Posted: July 5, 2019 by John McCauley in News

Our theme for Friday is “Born to be Fearless”.  Levi Hawk led us in this morning’s Flag Pole Talk.

When asked to lead the talk, Levi first thought of Super Hero’s.  Super Hero’s stand strong against their Villains and always find a way to prevail no matter the circumstance.  We, as Christians are called to do the same when Satan and other outside influences weigh on us.

Eph 6:10 Teaches us about the armor of God  and how once we put that on, we can stand firm against the schemes of the Devil. We noticed how this text says nothing about running away or backing up once we have our Armor on.  We Stand firm against not Flesh & Blood here, but against the devil.

Psalm 27 could be our Anthem as Christians – Our Call to Action.  What are we to do as Christians? Be STRONG  and COURAGEOUS – Wait on the Lord and Trust that he will give you all of the strength you need to succeed in your walk.
