Tuesday evening, we had our mid-week service where all the camp came together in the mess hall to sing songs and hear a lesson from God’s word. Sports counselor, David McPherson led our singing and Purple Team captain, Aric Russell led our minds in our lesson for the night. He captured the attention of the campers with the story of Lot and how important it is that we understand the blessings we have.
When the service had ended, Danny Elkins called Ryan and Tyson, our camp directors to the stage. It was to honor their 7 years as camp directors.

Tyrone & Rochelle, I just sat here at my desk and watched this video after a long, hard day of work, and I got dust in my eyes too!!!!! 😉
Thanks to both of you for all you’ve done for MSC Jr. Week throughout the years. You have been great leaders and you’ll never know just how much you’ve impacted the precious souls that have come through MSC under your direction. Take comfort in the fact that you’ve made lasting memories for so many little ones and they’ll cherish these memories and friendships that you’ve had a hand in forming for their rest of their lives.
