Let the Festivities Begin…

Posted: June 30, 2014 by John McCauley in Sr. Week

The time has finally arrived and MSC Sr. Week 2014 has officially begun.  188 excited campers have converged on Shakamak’s amphitheater, along with some well-dressed team captains!  Directors Todd & Susan Hall introduced all the camp staff and team captains and their teams have met one another and have begun strategizing another great week at MSC!

Our theme this week is “God Fits,” taken from Psalm 119:11 — “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.” Throughout the week we are going to learn how “God Fits My Relationships,” “God Fits My Tolerance,” “God Fits My Fun,” “God Fits My Worship,” and “God Fits Me.”  We will focus on how “God Fits” in every aspect of our lives.

In addition to these Bible studies, campers will be participating in various activities such as softball, volleyball, lip synch, kickball, canoeing, crafts, disc golf, tug of war, air raid, projectile avoidance, obstacle course, and much more.  Keep reading the blog throughout the day each day for up-to-the-minute reports from MSC.
